Scott Jon Freidheim (born
July 31 1965 ) was a Managing Director, CAO, and Executive Vice President of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc.Freidheim was born in
Dearborn, Michigan . He began his career in investment banking inChicago at JohnNuveen & Co. In 1991, he joined Lehman Brothers’ Investment Banking Division. In 1996, he took the position of Chief of Staff for Lehman Brothers’ Chairman and CEORichard S. Fuld, Jr. Since then, he has held a number of senior positions such as Global Head of Strategy from 2005 to 2007 and Global Head of Corporate Communications, Marketing & Brand Strategy and Advertising from 2003 to 2007. Freidheim was appointed Co-CAO in October 2006.In 2005, Scott Freidheim was named a Young Global Leader by the
World Economic Forum as a leader in the field of business. Since 2006, Freidheim has participated in many panels at the World Economic Forum inDavos ,Switzerland as well as at the innaugural New Champions Meeting inDalian ,China .Scott Freidheim is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Institute of International Education (IIE), which administers the Fulbright scholarship program, as well as the Board and Selection Committee of the IIE's Scholar Rescue Fund. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Spelman College. Freidheim is also a member of the
Economic Club of New York andThe Council on Foreign Relations .Freidheim graduated with a B.A. in Economics from
Northwestern University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He was raised inBrazil ,France and the U.S. His father was Vice Chairman at Booz-Allen Hamilton, CEO of Chiquita and CEO of Sun Media Companies. His brother Stephen Freidheim founded and manages hedge fund Cyrus Capital.Scott Freidheim lives in
