National Fenestration Rating Council

National Fenestration Rating Council: The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization that provides performance ratings on windows, doors, and skylights. NFRC administers a certification and labeling program for the energy-efficiency of windows, doors, and skylights.

NFRC helps determine how well a product performs. By using the information contained on the NFRC label, architects, builders, code officials, contractors, home owners, and specifiers can do the following:

Reliably compares one product with another

Make an informed fenestration product choice

Trust that a product will perform as advertised

Determine whether a product meets code
