football (soccer) club based in the village of Forth,South Lanarkshire . Formed in 1904 and play at Kingshill Park. They currently compete in the West Region of theScottish Junior Football Association and play in red strips (uniforms) with a white trim. The club is currently managed by Paul Anderson. He has a coaching team consisting of Derek Brown and Ross Anderson.They have recently made a few additions to the squad for the season ahead and with names such as S. Donnachie (Shotts) B. McCloy (Lanark) B. Crawford (Shotts) P. Macaninch (R. Glencairn) joining the ranks. The blend of youth with experience has a sense of excitement running through the small village.
They had to share with
Carluke Rovers F.C. for a spell and play on a public park inCarnwath when Kingshill Park proved unusable.Forth have supplied two Scottish international goalkeepers in George Wood and Rab Douglas.Rangers legend Willie Waddell came from the village and starred for the team in his pre-Ibrox days
