Tine Thing Helseth from Oslo, Norway - born 1987, is a trumpet soloist specializing in classical repertoire.

Per her management Pro Arte, her name is pronounced Tine (“Ti” like in “timber”) Thing (“Ti” like in “timber”) Helseth. Per Tine, the "e" in Tine is pronounced like the "E" in Ellen.

Tine started to play trumpet at the age of 7 and studies at the Barratt Due Music Institute in Oslo. Her teachers have included Heidi Johanessen (Norwegian National Opera Orchestra) and since 2002 Arnulf Naur Nilsen (Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra). cite web
