"The Mormon Hierarchy: Origins of Power" (Salt Lake City, Utah: Signature Books) ISBN 1560850566.] although there is no reference toDanite activity or battles associated with theDanites in his personal memoirs or journals [Anson Call (1854) Personal Journal] . During the Missouri years of the Latter Day Saint movement, his farm was stolen from him, and he was nearly murdered in his effort to regain it. [Anson Call (1854). Personal Journal. p. 17] .
