Péter Horváth (footballer)
- Péter Horváth (footballer)
Péter Horváth (Joe) is a former professional footballer who played for Lúzer FC before injury forced him to retire from the game. His career was short but he was believed by those who regularly watched him to be among the most talented young players in the game, and perhaps the best from the prolific production line at Lúzer. This impression was endorsed by a televised appearance for Hungary Under-19s in which he was awarded the 'Man-of-the-Match' award and compared by studio analysts to a young Sándor Kócsó(footballer).
Horváth joined Lúzer FC aged 19 and went through the academy set-up, starting his first match on 26/8/2000. However, he was released by the club in May 2004 due to a knee injury, just two years after Kinizsi Klub bid 750 Ft for the talented midfielder.
