Pokémon The Park 2005 or nihongo|PokéPark|ポケパーク|PokePāku was a traveling
Japan ese theme park based on thePokémon franchise. It has existed in two locations previously, both currently closed. It was in Japan in 2005, and inTaiwan in 2006. There has been talk about Poképark coming to the USA, possiblyOklahoma City, Oklahoma , or to Europe, inBerlin, Germany . There was a rumor that a new Poképark would be built inRichmond, Virginia during the Summer of 2008 until a Mailbag response on Pokemon.com [http://www.pokemon.com] recently denied the rumor, stating that you "can't trust everything you see on the web. [ [http://www.pokemon.com/#mailbag_01142008] ] , though King's Dominion representative Drew Peacoch said, "We are looking very closely at Pokepark, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Pokepark come to Kings Dominion in the near future." The theme park featured twelve Pokémon-themed attractions, and was open betweenMarch 18 2005 andSeptember 25 2005 in Japan, and fromJune 23 2006 toSeptember 24 2006 in Taiwan.Attractions

Lucario and the Mystery of Mew promotion, and an attraction based on the movie, as well as a safari zone attraction, just like in the games. At the end you would get a trainer card. At the end of every attraction you would get a free TCG promo card. There was also a mini-movie playing, and there was a Meowth's Party diner. If you rode all of the rides you would get a prize at the end of your visit.You can also find featured attractions around PokePark. The Pokemon Game Corner tested trainers with their skills in order to win prizes that you cannot buy in any Pokemon Center shops.
Meowth's Party Cafe is a place where you can dine, and rock with Meowth and the gang. Every guest that made a food purchase got a drink coaster featuring some of the characters, like Pichu Brothers and friends.
There are two Rocket Pokemon Shops located through out the whole park. These shops had accessories for Pokemon fans. Items like a Pokemon head gear, T-shirts, postcards, to Official PokePark souvenirs.
