Descent of Elizabeth II from the Franks

Descent of Elizabeth II from the Franks

This line shows the means by which Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom is supposedly descended from Flavius Afranius Syagrius, a Roman proconsul in the 4th century AD.

The line after Arnulf of Metz is attested by numerous sources and generally uncontested by historians. Before Arnulf the line is a little more unclear, and may contain fabrications.
