The birth of Machine Sazi
in 1969, Machine Sazi Tabriz (M.S.T.) Group decided to create a new football team by the name of Machine Sazi.Machine Sazi Tabriz football club played its first official match in 1970.The club became the second most loved team in tabriz after some years
1970s
in 1973, the Takht Jamshid Cup was established.The Takht Jamshid Cup, was Iran's first ever nationwide football league and Machine Sazi entered the league in its first year of establishment in 1973. and Club participated in Takht Jamshid Cup between 1973 to 1977.
1980s
Like most sporting clubs in Iran, the revolution and the Iran-Iraq War severely limited the team's activities. From 1979 to 1980 the club participated in almost no meaningful competitions.In 1980 the Tabriz Football League and Tabriz Hazfi Cup was established.Machine Sazi participated the Tabriz Football League and Tabriz Hazfi Cup between 1980 to 1988. Machine Sazi is the most successful Tabriz Football League club in clinching seven championship titles ( in years 1980-81-83-85-86-87-88) and finishing two times as runner-up( in years 1982-84) and also club won Tabriz Hazfi Cup in seasons 1980-83-85-86-87-88.After the war the local and provincial leagues were scrapped in favor of nation-wide leagues.
1990s
After the war the Azadegan League was established. Machine Sazi promoted Azadegan League in year 1994.Club is Best Shahrestani (i.e. non-Tehrani) Team Award( in season 1995).They stayed in the Azadegan League for two season and club finished 8th in the standings but Next year club were relegated 2nd Division.club played in 2nd Division between 1997 to 2001.
2001-2008
After climbing back up the Iranian football system in the early 2000s,Machine Sazi are currently competing in the 2008–09 Azadegan League season;only two clubs have played in moreAzadegan League seasons.With the launch of Iranian Premier League, Machine Sazi has played in Azadegan League Iran's First Division League.In season 2007-08 the club finished 11th in the standings and relegted to 2nd Division Machine were relegated after 11 years in the top flight but following relegation Number of teams increased to 28 teams and Machine Sazi still remain in Azadegan League 2008-09.
2008-2009
The club had a mixed start to the 2008-09 season in Azadegan League.2008 heralded major changes for Machine Sazi , as the terrible state of the club's finances was revealed: they were unable to pay wages and had debtsthough. they have suffered poor away form. After a large drop in form, recording 10 losses in 12 matches, Asghar Etebari was sacked as manager and replaced by Sirous Bayrami. March 2008 Javad shahlaei resigned as chairman and Farhad Sedaghat was elected chairman by the club council. Seyed Javad Mousavi was brought in as the new manager.They finished 13th in the Azadegan League (group 2) standings of the 2008-2009 season. Thus, being relegated to 2nd Division.
