Hipermart is a hypermarket chain owned by Organización Soriana, It opened the first stores in 1989 (San Pedro and Cumbres in Monterrey, and San Lorenzo in Ciudad Juárez), Later opening new stores in Tecnológico in Chihuahua, Independencia and Oriente in Torreon and Santa María in Monterrey, In 1995 he fought the Martin families from Torreon and Monterrey and merged Soriana and Sorimex, actually most stores are rebranded to Soriana, only Independencia still operating with same name.
