Bill Reifsnyder

Bill Reifsnyder

William ("Bill") Reifsnyder (born April 13, 1962 in Pennsylvania) is a retired long-distance runner from the United States, who twice (1989 and 1991) won the American national title in the men's marathon race. In 1985 he finished in second place in the Honolulu Marathon, clocking 2:14:39 behind Kenya's Ibrahim Hussein (2:12:08).

Reifsnyder was an All-American three times in cross country, was All-East eight times in cross country and track, and led Bucknell to ten Conference Championships. In cross country, Reifsnyder won East Coast Conference titles all four years and was the first Bison finisher in its historic 100th straight dual meet victory.
