Zero Landmine is an EP created to promote awareness of the problem of landmines and promote a ban on landmines. Ryuichi Sakamoto and other musicians formed a group called NML ("No More Landmines) on April 25, 2001 to release a single.

Overview

TBS started broadcasting the 50th anniversary of landmine eradication campaign as part of this song. Ryuichi Sakamoto and other musicians wished to bring attention to the issue of landmines. Proceeds from this CD sales go toward demining efforts and other funds. Sakamoto was sympathetic to the tenor of domestic and foreign artists and musicians who gathered to form the unit NML (NO MORE LANDMINE). Landmines are still buried in several countries. Ethnic music and the singing are the main part of the second half as part of the configuration, which is about 20 minutes to finish the epic. David Sylvian wrote English lyrics for the song. Also, aside from this author Ryu Murakami's translation of the Japanese text, there is also a a high school English textbook for Sanseido Co.'s Crown English Series entitled "Mine-free World." The musical content is displayed. In the domestic market such as AIDS charity to be held every year in December Act Against AIDS, including many of the mine-like "human to kill, not injure for weapons" for a charity to be held in the current as relatively rare. The title, as described in the "LANDMINE" and the meaning of landmines.
