Boris Kuznetsov (boxer)

Boris Georgievich Kuznetsov ( _ru. Борис Георгиевич Кузнецов), February 23, 1947 – May 3, 2006) was a Russian boxer, who won the gold medal in the men's featherweight division (– 57 kilograms) at the 1972 Summer Olympics for the USSR.

He was born in Astrakhan.

Kuznetsov trained at Trudovye Rezervy in Astrakhan. He was the USSR Champion in 1972 and 1974.
