This shell is found on sand or fine gravel bottoms at depths of between 25 and 90 m.
hell description
The shell is depressed-, solid, sculptured with numerous low rounded spiral cords, with narrow interspaces, ten on the penultimate whorl. The umbilicus is deep and narrow, its approaches free of spirals but often weakly axially crenulated.
Shell coloration is buff, with irregular axial streaks of yellowish-brown.
The shell height is up to 2.25 mm, and the width is up to 3 mm.
