Houston High School is a high school (Grades 9-12) located in Germantown, Tennessee. Its school colors are silver and black. The school's mascot is the mustang. It is part of the Shelby County School System. One of its most honorable accomplishments is being the "Best of the Preps" in Shelby County Schools for the last nine years and counting. Houston has the Highest graduating percentage in all of Shelby County. Houston also is known for its athletics, being one of the best in public high schools. Also, Houston has one of the Highest averages in ACT and SAT test scores among public schools in Shelby County and the United States.
