Edson Andrade Almeida better known as Edson Di (born 14 March 1979 in Itapeipu, Jacobina, Bahia) is a Brazilian footballer.He plays for Portuguese team F.C. Paços de Ferreira.

Career

Edson has played for São Paulo, Udinese Calcio, Juventus, Uniao Sao Joao, Santa Cruz and Coruripe. He started his career with Brazilian giants São Paulo and quickly moved to Serie A team Udinese. He did not have a successful time with Udinese and moved to Juventus on loan and also the next year had successful time with B razilian team Uniao Sao Joao and after with Santa Cruz on loan.After three years on loan to Brazilian clubs he was bought in 2004 by Coruripe and after a great three years and great performances with the club he made a big move to Portugal for UEFA Cup contenders F.C. Paços de Ferreira.
