American football coach. He coached at theUniversity of Houston in its inaugural two football seasons from 1946-1947, guiding the school to a 7–14 record overall. Wallace was a 1934 graduate ofTexas Christian University . He began his coaching career at the high school ranks and coached at El Paso Bowie, El Paso, Greenville, San Angelo and San Antonio Jefferson, intermitted by short college stints at TCU and Houston.Further reading
