Rives McBee (pronounced "Reeves") (born
October 31 ,1938 ) is an Americanprofessional golfer who played on thePGA Tour and theSenior PGA Tour .McBee was born in
Denton, Texas , and has called nearby Irving home for most of his life. He played on the PGA Tour from 1965 to 1971, before accepting a job as the head golf professional at Las Colinas Country Club in Irving. His best finish in a major championship was T-13 at the 1966 U.S. Open.
