The 1983 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup Final was a football match contested between Aberdeen of Scotland and Real Madrid of Spain. The final was held at Nya Ullevi in Gothenburg, Sweden. Aberdeen shocked the footballing world and won the match 2–1 thanks to goals by Eric Black and John Hewitt.
