1991 after the monopoly on listings magazine ended. Before this, onlyRadio Times hadBBC listings andTV Times hadITV and, from 1982,Channel 4 listings. What's On TV started along withTV Quick and the short lived TV Plus in March 1991.When "What's on TV" was launched in 1991, the cover picture usually had TV stars and programmes but more recently it almost exclusively has a soap represented on the cover (mainly
