Robert Haines

Robert Haines is a Republican Party politician from the U.S. state of New Hampshire. Haines has ran in Republican primaries in 1992, 1996, 2004, and 2008. On October 15, 2007, he filed as a candidate in the New Hampshire Presidential Primary, however his application was ultimately rejected due to problems with his application fee. [Citation

Haines gained some notoriety in 1994 for his role in halting a gunman who had opened fire on the White House. He served time in state prison for pulling a gun on a man while campaigning in the 1996 primary.
