Louis Richard Palmisano (born September 16, 1982 in city-state|Utica|New York) is a Major League Baseball catcher for the Milwaukee Brewers.

Palmisano graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in 2001, after winning a state championship in baseball. In the Major League Baseball draft that year, Palmisano was taken by the Chicago White Sox in the 21st round (643rd overall). He did not sign with the White Sox and instead attended Broward Community College, in which he graduated in 2003 with a business degree. That same year, he entered the draft again, and this time was taken by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 3rd round as the 69th overall pick.

After signing with the Brewers, he played for the Rookie League Helena Brewers in by|2003. Playing in 47 games, he hit 6 home runs and hit close to .400 with a .391 clip. After the season, he was named by Topps as a short season/rookie All-Star.

In by|2004, Palmisano played his first full season while playing for the Single-A Beloit Snappers. In 113 games, he batted .293 with 7 home runs and 65 RBI. In by|2005, he played for the Single-A Advanced Brevard County Manatees and batted .255 with 5 home runs. His season included being named to the Florida State League midseason All-Star game.

For the next two seasons, by|2006 and by|2007, Palmisano played entirely for the Double-A Huntsville Stars. In both seasons he was named to the Southern League midseason All-Star game. He batted .241 with 4 home runs in 2006 and .256 with a career high 11 home runs in 2007.

On November 19, mlby|2007, the Brewers purchased Palmisano's contract, protecting him from the Rule 5 Draft. On September 5, mlby|2008, he was designated for assignment to make room for Mike Lamb.
