Tompkinsville is a Staten Island Railway train station in the neighborhood of Tompkinsville, Staten Island, New York, located at Victory Boulevard and Bay Street on the main line. It is located at grade with an island platform, but all staircases go up for overpasses at both ends. The north entrance leads to Victory Boulevard and Bay Street and there is a parking lot adjacent to the southbound track. The south entrance leads to Hannah Street and there is a 3rd track adjacent to the southbound track on that side. It is part of a "Maintenance of Way" shop, with barns on both sides of this line and located south of this station. Due to many people exiting at Tompkinsville, most likely to avoid paying the fare at St George, the MTA is installing turnstiles and a stationhouse at the Victory Boulevard entrance. As of September 2008, customers must use the Hannah Street entrance until the project is completed, when they will have to enter at the Victory Boulevard entrance and pay the fare. The Hannah Street entrance will be used only for emergencies.
