"Calliostoma pellucidum morioria" is a subspecies of medium-sized sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc. Some authors have placed this genus in the family Calliostomatidae, other malacologists have left it in the family Trochidae.

Distribution

This subspecies is endemic to the New Zealand's Chatham Islands.

hell description

The shell is similar to "Calliostoma pellucidum forsteriana", differing only in more solid build, straight spire outlines, and a deeper, more capacious body whorl.

The shell height is up to 39 mm, and the width is up to 41 mm.
