AED Oil Limited is an oil exploration and production company based in Australia.

It is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange with the code AED, and is a component of the S&P/ASX 200 index.

AED owns the Puffin Oil field off the north-west coast of Australia in the Timor Sea, which is included on the list of Oil Megaprojects for 2007. Production from the oilfield commenced in 2007, but difficulties were encountered with the water conditions in the field. Puffin has recently been producing around 6,000-10,000b/d, a much lower rate than earlier expected. In March 2008 AED agreed to sell 60% of Puffin and its undeveloped Talbot field, also in the Timor Sea, to China's Sinopec for AUD600m.
