The Broken Road

The Broken Road is a film created and directed by Eric Filson that focuses on an orphaned young man who travels to Colorado to grieve the loss of his younger brother.

Film Review

The Broken Road deals honestly with personal faith in God in a contemporary setting. Other movies, such as Ben Hur, do so but in an ancient context.

The movie focuses on a wayward, homeless young man who travels to Colorado to grieve the loss of his brother. On the way, he experiences several encounters with both helpful and sinister characters. The main character Miles Rodden (Jascha Updike) struggles with how God could allow both his parents and his brother to die.
