"Lace and Whiskey" is an album by Alice Cooper, released in May 1977. After many years of portraying the same dark and sinister persona, Alice decided to try something new. The album showcases Cooper's love for the musicians that recorded music in this vein, Frank Sinatra even went on to sing the smash hit "You And Me", a compliment that Alice still appreciates.

During this album when it was clear that Alice wasn't going to return from his new success the former Alice Cooper group's members (Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith, and Michael Bruce) formed a new group with Mike Marconi and Bob Dolin with Bruce playing guitar and lead vocals, known as "The Billion Dollar Babies" [http://allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=11:hpfqxqe5ldhe] .
