Along with its usual music programming, WPID is the Piedmont affiliate of the Fox Radio News network, Dick Bartley's Rock'n'Rolls Greatest Hits, Dick Bartley's American Gold, and American Top 10 with Casey Kasem. WPID has also joined the syndication of the Clark Howard show which can be heard Monday-Friday Noon-3pm.
Each Friday night in high school football season, WPID supports Piedmont by broadcasting each Piedmont High School football game live. Other sporting events that WPID carries include opening day baseball for the Piedmont Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) and occasionally high school basketball games. WPID has not been affiliated with neither the Alabama Sports Network, nor the Auburn Sports Network for many years (due to lack of interest). WPID was also an affiliate of the Atlanta Braves Radio network from 1986 through 2006 but was unable to continue the coverage because of lack of support.
