Plot summary
The movie is introduced by a narration by Tim Travis, the main character. His brother Matt, he tells the audience, is the most talented swimmer anyone has ever seen, the best. But Tim knew what no one else knew: Matt hated swimming. He hated it more than anyone he knew had hated anything. And a minute or two into the film, Matt shoots himself in the head. [Ebert, Roger.
