Steve Debbes, better known by his ring name Tornado, is a South African professional wrestler currently performing for World Wrestling Professionals. Career

He was trained by Don Charles and Wild Bill Murphy and was an amateur wrestler and Judoka before turning professional at the age of 18. Prior to this he received "Springbok Colours" for his amateur wrestling achievements and became the youngest South African to do so at the time. He began his professional wrestling career under his real name in 1986. In the early 90s, wrestling for "All Stars Wrestling", he donned the Tornado 2 gimmick then traveled extensively overseas in order to improve. Some of the countries he has toured include Mexico, USA and Russia. Shortly after the death of close friend Pink Panther, he unmasked himself.
