Jove/Xove

Jove / Xove is a traditional district ("parroquia rural") of the municipality of Gijón / Xixón, in Asturias, Spain. It is nowadays officially considered part of the West district of the city itself.

Its population was 1.579 in 1995.

Jove / Xove is located on the western coast of Gijón / Xixón. It borders with the city in the east, and with the municipality of Carreño in the west.

El Musel port is located in this district.
