Campus Manitoba

Campus Manitoba (CMB) is a consortium of Manitoba's public post-secondary institutions intended to reduce barriers and enable the achievement of educational goals.

CMB serves as a conduit to provide access to college and university courses and programs for residents of rural Manitoba through distributed learning mechanisms including the Internet. Courses are developed by Red River College, Assiniboine Community College, University College of the North, Brandon University, University of Winnipeg and University of Manitoba.

The project is designed to facilitate access to post-secondary education services within the province of Manitoba. In addition to courses, services include student advising, admissions and registration, electronic submission of transcripts and exam invigilating.

Regional CMB centres staffed by CMB coordinators provide academic and logistical support for students enrolled through Campus Manitoba.

Coordinators provide support for students in distance learning courses at rural centers located in Altona, Boissevain, Brandon, Carman, Crosslake, Dauphin, Eriksdale, Flin Flon, illarney, Pine Falls, Southport, Steinbach, Swan River, The Pas, Thompson in Manitoba and at Whitebear in Saskatchewan.
