José Antonio Montañez, born March 25 1989, also known as Monti, is a singer in the band Menudo. He is Puerto Rican, originally from Caguas, Puerto Rico, but now lives in Laredo, Texas after living in Augusta, Georgia for 5 years where he went to Hephzibah High School. He graduated from United High School, where he was a member of the choir. His groupmates are Carlos Olivero, Chris Moy, Emmanuel Vélez Pagán, and José Bordonada Collazo <3 .
