Ingersoll District Collegiate Institute is a public high school in Ingersoll, Ontario. It is the only high school in Ingersoll. It is in the Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB). It also serves Thamesford, Ontario. It is often referred to by its initials, I.D.C.I. It is located in the north end of the town on Alma street. The very first principal of the school was J.C. Herbert, where he has an award named after him.

Athletics

I.D.C.I. plays a variety of inter school sports. These sports include: football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, track and field, curling, and badminton. I.D.C.I. Blue Bombers is the team name affiliated with all these sports.

Football

In 2006 the varsity football team had its best season in over forty years. The team went undefeated, with one tie. The Blue Bombers went to the Varsity Cup that year, but were upset by the Huron Park Huskies 14-7. The quarterback was Alex Shier.

Clubs

I.D.C.I. has many clubs and groups that make the school run.

Light & Sound Team

The Light & Sound Team is a very important group. Without it the school would not have any assemblies, or light and sound for plays.The team consists of several people, the President is Dan Shaw, and the Vice-President is Jamie Dodd. Our Staff Advisor is Mr. Harold Duivestyen
