Diango Hernandez (born 1970) is a Cuban contemporary artist
Biography
Hernandez was born in 1970 in Sancti Spíritus, Cuba. He earned a degree in
industrial design at theHavana Superior Institute of Design (ISDI). After graduation in 1994 he began a collaboration experience together withErnesto Oroza ,Juan Bernal ,Francis Acea andManuel Piña under the name "Ordo Amoris Cabinet", after theLatin words for "order" and "love". From 1996 until 2003 Ordo Amoris Cabinet was only formed by Diango Hernández and Francis Acea. The duo's sculptural installations were exhibited throughoutCuba ,Europe , andNorth America . Hernandez currently lives and works inDüsseldorf ,Germany , andTrento ,Italy .Awards
