Toei Asakusa Line of theTokyo Subway network inJapan . It is located underground in theKyōbashi neighborhood ofChūō, Tokyo . Its two platforms serve the line's two tracks. Platform 1 handles passengers bound for Sengakuji andNishi Magome Station s. Platform 2 is for traffic toward Nihombashi andOshiage Station s.Although transfer is not possible, passengers may walk to nearby stations on other lines. Kyōbashi Station on the
Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and Hatchōbori Station on theTokyo Metro Hibiya Line are a few minutes' walk from Takarachō.Takarachō Station opened on
February 28 ,1963 on what was then called Line 1. The line took its present name in 1978. The station takes its name from Takarachō, a neighborhood that was named in 1931. The neighborhood's name disappeared in 1978 when Takarachō merged with neighboring Kyōbashi, but the station continues to use the old name.Trains of all service classes except airport service stop at Takarachō.
