Paul Schudel is a former head coach of the Ball State (1985-1994) and Central Connecticut State (2001-2003) college football program.

Schudel was the tenth head college football coach for the Central Connecticut State University Blue Devils located in New Britain, Connecticut and he held that position for three seasons, from 2001 until 2003. His coaching record at Central Connecticut was 10 wins, 21 losses, and 0 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2007 season, this ranks him tenth at Central Connecticut in total wins and tenth at Central Connecticut in winning percentage (0.323).
