Bankeryd is the second largest locality of Jönköping Municipality, Jönköping County in Småland, Sweden.

Bankryd is situated on the western shore of the lake Vättern about 10 km north of the municipal seat. It is mainly residential with some industries, and could be considered a suburb of Jönköping and has a population of about 6,500.
