First Doctor serial "The Dalek Invasion of Earth " (the plan to remove the Earth's core is mentioned, as well as the mine works inBedfordshire ). The date of this story is given as 2158; the TV serial, which has yet to occur (the revolt against the Daleks which theFirst Doctor will instigate, has not yet happened), takes place in or after 2164, later in the invasion's history.Cast
