Sibulan is a 4th class municipality in the province of Negros Oriental,
Philippines . According to the2000 census, it has a population of 37,523 people in 7,871 households.Sibulan is bordered to the south by
Dumaguete City , the provincial capital. It is the location of theDumaguete Airport , the only airport in Negros Oriental.Sibulan is also the location of the Twin Lakes
eco-tourism site, composed of Lake Balinsasayaw and Lake Danao. The site, managed by the provincial government, is located 1047 meters above sea level onMt. Talinis .Barangays
