HMS Gipsy (1897)

HMS Gipsy (not Gypsy) was a Gipsy class destroyer which served with the Royal Navy [http://www.battleships-cruisers.co.uk/gypsy_class.htm] . She was launched by Fairfield on the 9th of March 1897 and served in home waters through the Great War. She destroyed a U boat which had foundered on the Goodwin Sands in 1917 and was sold off in 1921.
