"Blue Murder" is a British TV crime drama series on ITV, starring Caroline Quentin as DCI Janine Lewis. It is based in Manchester, and was created by well-known crime writer Cath Staincliffe, who has also written several episodes. It has recently completed its fourth season on ITV.
DCI Janine Lewis is a single mother of four and tries to balance a demanding career with taking care of her children. Her ex-husband is an absent father. He has since founded a new family.
