Raja Raisal, reigned 1584 to 1614, born 1538. He was Raja of Khandela. Son of Rao Suja of Amarsar, granted the jagir of Lamiya, he was granted the title of “Raja” also a title of Darbari and a mansab of 1250 sawars later raised to 3000 by Emperor Akbar. He married several Ranis. He died 1614.He was great-grandson of Rao Shekha of Amarsar and he belonged to the Kachwaha Clan of Amber/Jaipur.

Progeny

Raja Raisal had 12 sons.
* Thakur Lal Singh (Lad Singh) of Khachariawas, ancestor of the “Ladkhani” sept of the Shekhawat sub-clan.
* Kunwar Tajsi, he died sp.
* Rao Tirmal, granted the title of Rao and the parganas of Nagore and Kasli (+84villages). He was the ancestor of “Rao Ji Ka” sept of Shekhawats.
** Rao Gangaram of Kasli, he died at Renwal.
* Kunwar Puras Ram of Bae.
* Rao Bhojraj, ruler of Udaipurwati and ancestor of Bhojraj Ji Ka sept of Shekhawat sub-clan.
* Kunwar Hariram of Mundurri.
* Raja Girdhar Singh (or Girdhardas), 7th son of Raja Raisal, granted the jagir of Khandela, by Emperor Jahangir.
** Rani Laadi Kanwar Ji Sahiba, married Rao Amar Singh Rathore of Nagour, son of Maharaja Gaj Singh I of Jodhpur. She became sati 26th July 1644.
