- Guido Tabellini
Guido Enrico Tabellini (
1956 ) is an Italianeconomist who is currently teaching atBocconi .He received his
PhD in1984 fromUCLA . He first taught atStanford , then atUCLA , and later inItaly . He is past president of theEuropean Economic Association . He was consultant to theWorld Bank and Italian government.In 2003 he published "The Economic Effects of Constitutions. Munich Lectures in Economics". In May 2008 he was appointed as new rector of the university, in charge from 1st November 2008.
