Stephen H. Mahoney is a former head coach of the Boston College college football program from 1914-1915.

After two seasons as the head coach of the Boston College Eagles football team, Mahoney was replaced by the popular Charles Brickley and Mahoney returned to Somerville High to coach track. He later served as a football offical and as a city offical in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
