Padhrar

Padhrar is a village and Union Council (an administrative subdivision) of Khushab District located in Punjab, Pakistan [ [http://www.nrb.gov.pk/lg_election/union.asp?district=15&dn=Khushab Local Government Elections - Government of Pakistan] ] . It is part of Khushab tehsil, the village of Padhrar is located at the beginning of the Soon Valley which leads to the mountain peak of Sakesar.

Shia Muslims are about 40% of Padhrar's population. Education level in padhrar is increasing with considerable pace every year with many of young generation going for higher studies in a very reputable institutions in pakistan. On other hand unemployment level in padhrar is very low with lot of people work for Pak Army.

On poltical scenario the most prominent face of padhrar wasLate Malik Bashir Awan and Malik Shakir Awan(MNA) son of earlier one.

There are some shrines located in Padhrar. For quite sometime Hazrat Shah Jewna resided in Padhrar before leaving for Jhang. This village has historical grave yard which nobody knows how old. Padhrar is at the borders of Khushab and Chakwal. The people of this village are known for their bravery and hospitality. It is a beautiful valley and just 17KM west of Kallar Kahar.
