Eastern Bosphorus

Eastern Bosphorus

Eastern Bosphorus ( _ru. Босфор Восточный, "Bosfor Vostochny") is strait separates the Muravyov-Amursky Peninsula and Russky Island, and connects the Amur Bay and the Ussuri Bay.

It is about 9 km long and only 800 m wide at its narrowest point, and there are many plans to building a bridge or a tunnel for transport and pedestrian connecting Russky Island and mainland Vladivostok.
