Little Children was a song written by J. Leslie McFarland and Mort Shuman. It was recorded by Billy J. Kramer & The Dakotas which reached Number One in the UK Singles chart in March 1964, and Number 7 in the U.S. later the same year.

The song is sung from the point of view of man cajoling and bribing the young siblings of his girlfriend not not to 'tell on' him about their relationship. As such, it was a departure from the straight love songs hitherto recorded by Kramer (usually supplied by Lennon & McCartney) [cite web
