"Survivor" is an upcoming disaster survival game based on real-life disasters, both natural and manmade, from the 20th and 21st century. Developed by Replay Studios for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows, it is set to be released in 2008.

Gameplay

Little is yet known about the gameplay, but it will revolve around the player surviving historical disasters and their aftermath.

Disasters

Disasters that have been confirmed to be in the game are:
* 1912: Sinking of the RMS "Titanic"
* 1945: Atomic bombing of Hiroshima
* 1985: Mexico City earthquake
* 1992: Hurricane Andrew
* 2001: Rescue and recovery effort after the September 11, 2001 attacks
* 2004: Paraguay supermarket fire

History

The game was first announced in 2004, to be released on Microsoft Windows, Xbox, PlayStation 2 and GameCube. After a silence of almost 3 years, developer Replay Studios announced that it was being continued in 2007 for the next-gen consoles. The release date is currently set for December 31, 2008.
