The National Library and Information System (known as NALIS) of Trinidad and Tobago was established in 1998. It is the legal deposit and copyright library for Trinidad and Tobago. The immediately preceding Librarian was Eintou Pearl Springer, appointed 1993. It is headquartered at the corner of Hart and Abercromby Streets in Port of Spain, with local branches nationwide.
